that buyers of Whole Foods products have been deceived.
“We sell a bunch of junk. ” This admission was intended to get Wholefood Store owners to act.
Mr Mackey of WF apologised for losing sight of the American-based company’s health food roots and said all retailers had a responsibility to help tackle Britain’s (and the rest of the world’s) obesity crisis.
There needs to be a better balance. Will they now take the lead educating consumers and dare I say modeling good food behavior?
